Gami Digital Signage Client

Gami is the new digital signage application that is compatible with the Open Source system Xibo versions 1.7.x (http://xibo.org.uk/).

This application is an Android client a free CMS already complete system with a large community on the Internet. Any questions about the CMS Xibo system should be redirected to your forums.

These are the characteristics relative to CMS that are already functional in this release:

-Layouts In landscape and portrait;

The video formats supported depend on the device being used. The Gami uses the device's hardware decoder to play the videos. We suggest using the MP4 H.264. Several devices support the use of multiple videos on the same layout, make sure your supports before creating a multiple layout.

Some Android devices for the TV block the rotation function and can be released only with the ROM and changes in the system. To use the device in portrait simply create a layout in the CMS with the swap resolutions.

-Automatic start at BOOT;

-Screen persistence, starting the application if go to the background or accidentally quit;

-Can be configured as the launcher system;

-Use device full resotution.
