Fighters can traverse the levels free-roaming in very large spaces and can be fighting on a platform, go in the air, and fight underwater. They run when on the ground, and swim while underwater.

Gameplay - Goku Ultimate Xenoverse Fusion

Fighters show facial expressions when they strike an opponent or take damage. In addition to the ever-present ki meter, there is a green stamina meter which can be used up to instantly disappear behind an opponent. This meter can also be used up by certain super attacks like the Kaio-ken.

This is the process of merging two or more separate beings into one, combining their attributes, from strength and speed to reflexes, intelligence and wisdom. When properly fused, the single being created has an astounding level of power, far beyond what either fusees would have had individually.

Fusion is a short series of poses that are performed by two characters of equal power levels and roughly equal size. To correctly perform the Fusion, the fusees must strike the poses in a perfectly symmetrical image of one another.

Types - Goku Ultimate Xenoverse Fusion

- Namekian Fusion is the first biological fusion that appears in the series. A special technique unique to the Namekians, it is more of an assimilation than a fusion

This technique is used twice in the series. When this happens, the Namekians can choose who's form the new being will be based on. Both times, Piccolo fused with Nail, the last Warrior-Type Namekian.

- Fusion Dance performed using the Fusion Dance, a dance developed by an alien species called the Metamorans which Goku learned in the Other World. It was first introduced when the threat of Majin Buu emerged.
