The Helium Wallet v2.8.0 release adds significant improvements to the wallet experience including a new map for Hotspots and better support for Solana standard wallets. New wallets created in the app will default to a standard Solana derivation path. The app will remain compatible with existing wallets in the Helium ecosystem. A future version may include a migration tool to help users move to the common standard.

The developers of the Helium ecosystem strongly recommend an upgrade to v2.8.0.
