The Manon is a fully domesticable bird. The Manón is the product of human intervention, due to crosses between various species of the genus Lonchura (originating in Japan), it came to conform to what is now known as Lonchura domestica (also known as Isabela of Japan, or Society Finch). They are peaceful birds, which adapt very well to coexistence with other species. Docile, ready. They can display only one color, two colors or three colors. They live between 5 and 10 years.
