Maintaining the right level of oxygen in the water is important in aquaculture. Controlling the concentration of oxygen dissolved in water is crucial in aquaculture. Maintaining the proper oxygen level in the water will improve utilisation of feed, reduce the growth period and reduce fish mortality. The appropriate use of oxygen improves the economic situation of a fish farm significantly and provides additional production reliability.

This app shows the solubility of oxygen in water with respect to temperature and salinity (salt content). When you know the temperature and salinity you can use this app to find the correct oxygen value in mg per liter of water.
