Maslow's Mission

Our goal is to fulfill humanity’s basic needs en masse, and promote care and compassion along the way. We make large meals several times a week and share them with our unhoused friends. Evenetually we plan to help with housing and other necessary community services.

For now, we feed people and share what resources come available. Donations from throughout the community – and all across the country – keep us going and help feed hundreds of people every week.

The theory behind our praxis is that with humanity's basic needs met we may actually have a chance at world peace. This is a simple and logical conclusion over a multigenerational plan that includes healthcare and education as basic needs along with food, water, shelter and clothing.

It's likely that with all of our basic needs met our species could actually thrive, and that is ultimately our goal - to help as many people as possible to thrive!

This app is designed to provide a platform for effective networking, bartering, trading, buying, selling, helping and serving our communities. You can volunteer for any offering with other Time Bank members and log your time in the app to get credit for use toward any product or service provided by members of the Time Bank!

There are few jobs that can pay anyone what they're really worth, and laborers around the world are fighting for better wages and benefits amid a global pandemic and supply shortages. We need an alternative that recognizes our time as equal to everyone else.

That's the Time Bank feature, and we hope to eventually network with Time Banks around the world and link like-minded people like never before!
