MemoPoint Győr

Discover old buildings in Győr, Hungary through the view of your camera, with the innovative augmented reality technology! This means you are able to see the old buildings projected on the current view shown by the camera.

In the last century, many photographs have been taken from the center of Győr, which faithfully present the life of the city at that time for the people of nowdays. These photographs, historical postcards were available to tourists so far only in museums and archives.

The MemoPoint application provides a new experience for presenting these materials in a way never seen before. It is possible to view the buildings on the old photos projected right on the camera image at the locations marked on the map. All you have to do is to walk to the point shown by the arrow, and aim the camera at the building from the angle from which the old picture was taken.

Tip: to switch the application language to english manually, go to settings (beállítások) > Change language (nyelv kiválasztása).
