WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT

It is a calculator. Open it, type your numbers, get the amount. That part

is not complicated and it shouldn't be.

The difference is what it does after that.

If your alkalinity is high and your pH is low, every calculator will hand

you a dose of soda ash — and your water will get worse, because soda ash

raises alkalinity too. Pool Dose Pro tells you to aerate instead, and adds

nothing.

When it does give you a dose, it tells you what that dose does to the rest

of your water — chlorine drives pH up, and a calculator that stops at the

number has told you half the job.

If your stabilizer is climbing toward the point where chlorine stops

working, it tells you how much longer your tablets can last — before you

buy another bucket, not after.

If the fix is new water rather than a chemical, it says so plainly instead

of selling you a dose that won't work.

That judgment is the product. The arithmetic has been in the back of a test

kit for forty years.

IT WILL TELL YOU TO STAY OUT

If you can't see the main drain in the deep end, nobody swims — no matter

what your test kit says. That isn't a chemistry rule, it's a rescue rule.

You can't see a person on the bottom of a pool you can't see the bottom of.

Some situations don't get a dose from this app at all. If the water changed

and you don't know why, or somebody was sick in it, it says so and tells you

to get help instead of handing you a number that sounds confident.

HONEST LIMITS

This app does not test your water. You'll need a decent test kit or strips,

and the app is only as good as the numbers you feed it.

There's no account, no cloud, and no subscription pestering you every week.

The app never sends your information anywhere on its own. Links inside it —

its published sources, and the buttons to email us or rate the app — open in

your regular browser or your mail app, and nothing goes anywhere unless you

send it yourself.

And it will never tell you a chemical is safe to mix. Read the label on the

container. Every time.
