GRAND ONAM FEST AT CHENNAI

Welcome to Pooram 2016, an extravaganza of cultural programmes, fun games and traditional events based on Onam, the harvest festival celebrated by all the Keralites. We, the Keralite diaspora in Chennai has come together for the first time to host this marquee event. Hundreds of young men and women are performing showcasing their artistic talents. This event will bring back the good old memories of Onam celebrations back home to each and every Keralite.

Patrons will be served a welcome drink, followed by a delicious Onasadya for lunch. Main attraction will be the chenda melam performed by Kunnathu Kalasamithi, a highly regarded group from Kerala. All the well wishers irrespective of their caste, creed, sex, religion, profession and language are welcome
