Sammy Tippit has been a leading voice among Christians around the world during the last few decades. He is currently preaching some of the largest evangelistic meetings in the world. In the last 40 years of his ministry, Tippit has proclaimed the gospel in more than 80 countries. In 1970, Sammy founded the evangelistic organization, God's Love In Action, which later changed its name to Sammy Tippit Ministries (STM). Sammy Tippit Ministries exists to glorify God by evangelizing the world for Christ. STM does worldwide evangelization by partnering with local churches for cost-effective ministry and long-term results. STM often goes to the difficult places. God has called STM to many of the unreached cities of the world and to many locations in turmoil. STM’s vision is to act as a catalyst of revival within the Body of Christ worldwide. STM equips and imparts vision and a passion for the lost to church leaders in such a way that it results in outreach, impacting both cities and nations for Christ with long-term results. Out of this vision and extensive ministry, STM has developed web content (text, video and audio) available in various languages – all targeted toward making the love of Jesus Christ known to other nations of our world. Much of the STM content is in English. But, in recent years, God has allowed STM to develop materials for Brazil (Portuguese), China (Mandarin), India (Hindi, Punjabi, Tamil), Iran (Farsi) and Pakistan (Urdu). STM also has some limited materials in the Russian, Romanian and Spanish languages. Sammy has written five sets of weekly devotional readings entitled: Real Life, A Sacred Connection, Heroes of the Faith, Names of God, and Awakenings. Many of these devotions have been translated into other languages – sometimes accompanied by audio readings of the texts. In 2009, Sammy produced the Inspiring Stories videos to inspire Christians in their walk with Christ. These video productions are true life stories and situations from the life and ministry of Sammy Tippit. There are stories covering such historical events as the Romanian Revolution, the war in Burundi, and the genocide in Rwanda. Some stories will help people discover the power of prayer and how the gospel of Jesus Christ brings peace to warring tribes. Other stories come from more personal experiences in Sammy’s life .. dealing with cancer, fulfilling the dream of running the original Greek marathon and impacts from close friendships in his life. Each video is short and illustrates an important Bible.
