Seborrhea or Seborrheic Dermatitis

is characterized by scaly patches of skin that result from a disorder of the sebaceous ( oil— secreting) glands. Seborrhea most often occurs on the scalp, face and chest but can appear on other parts of the body as well. It may or may not be itchy.

Seborrheic skin may be yellowish and greasy or dry and flaky. this disease can occur at infancy and middle age.
