Sense Chat

Sense Chat is an application designed to facilitate face-to-face communication between a Deaf-Blind person and a sighted person via Bluetooth connectivity between an Android devices a HIMS Braille Sense notetaker (Braille Sense U2, Braille Sense U2 QWERTY, Braille Sense OnHand) or Braille EDGE 40.

1. Features:

A. Facilitates face-to-face communication between a Deaf-Blind and a sighted person.

B. Includes built-in and user-created macros for easy entry of common phrases using just a few keystrokes.

C. Save conversations and read them at a later date.

D. Possible real-time conversation.

2. Connecting Braille Sense and Android Appication:

A. Sense Braille menu in social networking offline chat to run

B. Offline Chat menu, Bluetooth serial port (receive) to waiting

C. Application running on an Android device, then connect through dialog menu

Users can have a chat when Bluetooth is on. If users start having a chat, the text “Connection is completed” is displayed on the screen. And users can have the chat in real time.

Conversation made during the chat in application can be saved by using menu key and users can continue to chat by using Macro feature conveniently.
