Our village people are formed a Association is called Singamparai Welfare Association for our Village Development. We are working on

- Community Development,

- Voluntary Blood Donation,

- Life Skill Education for Children and Youths

- Career Guidance

- Guidance to get Government Plans and Schemes

- Organic Forming

- Keeping Traditional Values and Others.

There is around 1300 families are living in our village and they are following Catholic Christianity. St.Paul's Church is identity of the village and people getting blessing every day the Lord Jesus Christ. Our community background and sun caste is Nadar and doing the following businesses.

Teaching, Construction Works, Beedi Rolling, Forming, Engineering and some daily wages.
