The Cannon

Hello guys,

thanks in advance for considering playing my game. Back then when I was writing it, it was my first ever entry into game dev world and I made it as simple as possible, though I like the concept - an arcade game where you cant just shoot all the time, and if you do, you face consequences.

Now I'm considering making a sequel, bigger and (hopefully) better in every aspect, perhaps add multiplayer support, levels, difficulties...

I have a lot of ideas on my own, but I'm not really a gamer and I'm not that familiar with what the trends are... so if you have an idea what would make the game better and more fun, please share with me.

Original "about" section:

In 100 years humanity will face its biggest challenge yet. We know we can't hold forever, we just have to hold long enough to reach and terraform our new home - Proxima B.

Control rail cannon placed on the orbit of the earth and protect it. To defend from smaller threats, use blue deflective shots, to destroy the big asteroids use the red explosive shots. Beware - gravity is strong in this scale - learn to use it for your advantage. Once the population of the earth reaches zero, there is no one left to protect and you lose. The population growth is present and correlates with the real world population growth.

Game is meant to be played in the dark; sizes, scales, speeds and laws of physics has been modified in order to make the game more playable and fun. Game features leaderboard and achievements.

Since the game is 2D, it does not go agains beliefs of flat-earthers and vegans.
