2 Million Books WebPortal

The Online Books Page (OBP), a service offered by the University of Pennsylvania, gives readers access to more than two million books freely accessible - and readable - on the internet. Users also gain access to significant directories and archives of online texts, as well as special exhibits of particularly interesting classes of online books.

The OBP is edited by John Mark Ockerbloom, who began OBP in 1993. Versions of OBP from 2005 through the present are copyrights by John Mark Ockerbloom. He works as a digital library planner and researcher at the University of Pennsylvania.

The 2 Million Books WebPortal is not endorsed, sponsored or certified by The Online Books Page, the University of Pennsylvania or John Mark Ockerbloom.
