This is a patch that restores the Home button override for CarHome Ultra while your Android 4.2.x phone is in Car Mode.
Requirements:
1) You must have CarHome Ultra installed
It works with standard and alternative Android home launcher apps and Car Home Ultra.
After installing the app, press Home and then select this app as the default home screen app.
One issue with this patch is that the Home button will no longer center the default home screen. I do not anticipate having a fix for this.
Please bare in mind that this is a patch. The issue can only be correctly fixed by Google with an update to Android.
