This is the official app for the BSAS Annual Conference 2019.

Held at the outstanding Edinburgh International Conference Centre, ‘Fit for the Future’ promises to be a not-to-be-missed celebration of past, present and future developments being made in animal science and livestock production.

The event will look at the technology, research and innovation which is shaping animal science as it develops to meet the world’s challenges.

Featuring experts from around the world, it will cover subjects including animal behaviour and welfare, nutrition and feed efficiency.

Specific sessions will include pigs, sheep and equine, as well as aquaculture, companion and zoo animals.

There will also be sessions covering antimicrobial resistance, joint sessions with WPSA on precision agriculture, as well as a tour of the new equine surgery unit at The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies
