Dragon Scales

Dragon Scales is a project designed to respond honourably to an invitation to participate in Xintiandi Design Festival at Design Shanghai, China.

Dragon Scales is inspired in the Chinese dragon’s body. It is a contemporary interpretation of dragon’s waving movement and scales.

It is a scenic space divider with transparency and permeability vision for indoor or outdoor use. It is built in solid color and thermoformed

solid surface blade, a kind of natural mineral material, non-porous, durable and uv resistant.

The interaction with visitors is enriched with this augmented reality app.

To use the app the user need to point it to the sculpture, overlay the image that appears on the screen,

when OK button is active, press it, and it will be surprised.
