Happy Sorting

1) Ability cultivation: train children's ability to put things in order forward and backward in accordance with the size of the selected items, number, and length to promote the development of a sense of sequence.

2) Theoretical basis: sorting ability is an important part of children's logical thinking ability as children need to distinguish the differences between objects and make comparison between multiple things. 3-to-4-year-old children start to learn sorting and can control the interference of other things, for example: when learning sorting based on size, the use of different sizes of the same thing enables the child to quickly learn to sort without interference and get prepared for complex sorting with interference.

3) Game objective: Happy Sorting is designed for 3-to-4-year-old children. In the game, only one feature is different in the items to be sorted and the children need to sort according to this feature so as to eliminate the interference of irrelevant factors and quickly grasp the nature of sorting.

4)Guide for parents: use household items to play the sorting game with your child! For example: let the child place everyone’s shoes from large to small or from small to large; let the child place his/her dolls from short to tall.
