Patrick W. Harland, Jr., is a seasoned litigator and personal injury lawyer having tried cases in both State and Federal Court and is licensed to practice in Florida. Mr. Harland is admitted to the U.S. District Court in and for the Middle District of Florida. Mr. Harland is also an Eagle member of the Florida Justice Association and has been nominated by Florida Trend Magazine as “Legal Elite” every year since 2009.

Mr. Harland served with honor and distinction in the United States Coast Guard from 1990-1992 aboard the Eagle where he trained cadets from the United States Coast Guard Academy. After serving his country, Mr. Harland attended Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida where he received a Bachelor of Arts and graduated Cum Laude.

Mr. Harland attended Law School at Stetson University College of Law in St. Petersburg, Florida and graduated in 1999. Upon completion of Law School, Mr. Harland worked primarily in the field of insurance defense and nursing home defense where he defended some of the nation’s largest nursing home chains in liability suits regarding patient care. Mr. Harland also defended physicians in correctional healthcare cases brought by inmates alleging civil rights violations due to inadequate healthcare.
