HouseOfficer is an app for junior doctors working in hospital. It is specifically designed to provide a more effective method of managing a list of patients and their associated tasks. It also helps with on-calls jobs and storing hospital telephone numbers and extensions for quick and easy access.

HouseOfficer was developed by Ed Wallitt and Tom Reay, a doctor and developer who both realised that paper patient lists are inefficient, insecure and not in the spirit of good medical care.

Ed Wallitt is the founder of Podmedics.com, a worldwide leader in online medical education, and Podmedics Ltd, a company that creates intelligent and to-the-point software for healthcare.
