This app offers the user to translate content not only through web-based translation tool, but also provide the option to translate utilizing other downloaded translation apps, which offers text translation giving a choice to the user right at one place.

What led us to develop this application?

Communication goes a long way in bridging gaps, and we were keen to offer a tool that could offer users a quick and effective way to translate content utilizing translation apps preferred by the user.

Why we named this app as IOTRANSLATE?

Being a translation system that includes input and output, we have named this app as IOTranslate.

What can this app do and how it works?

Step 1: Enter the text to be translated

Step 2: Pressing the first image opens up a list of commonly downloaded translator apps for the user to select provided this app has been downloaded or is already offered as a system app in the smartphone. Upon selecting one of the apps in the list (if there are multiple options available), the entered text will be copied to the clipboard, and the user will be directed to the selected app. Clicking the same image again would act like a toggle button, and the list will be closed.

Step 3: In cases where the user would prefer accessing the web based translation, then the user can press the second image after entering the text. Right after pressing the image, the user would be directed to the translation page, and the text would be automatically translated to the default language in place.
