JKAIR is for public to register public complaints related to air pollution in the non-attainment cities  of Jammu and Kashmir. It also provides Air Quality Index (AQI).  Air Quality Index is  an effective tool  for effective communication of the air quality status to people in terms , which are easy to understand. It transforms complex air quality data of various pollutant into a single number, nomenclature and color.
