Kandar Anubhuti the immortal song of Arunagirinathar ends up with the verse, ‘Guruvai Varuvai Arulvai Guhane’.

It should be noted that Arunagirinathar prays that Lord Muruga should come to him not as a God to bestow blessings but as a master-teacher to guide him and enlighten him to the path of nobility, virtue and perfection.

Muruga not only came to Arunagirinathar as a Guru but He came in the form of a Guru to whoever rendered the verses of Arunagirinathar, “Guruvai Varuvai Arul Vai Guhane”.

He came to us even when we have not rendered those verses. All that we did was to visit his sacred abode, Palani, on the occasion of Thaipusam.

சித்தாந்தக் கருத்துகள் நிறைந்த இந்நூல் 51 விருத்தப்பாக்களால் ஆன சிறந்த பாராயண நூலாகும்.

கந்தர் அனுபூதி என்னும் நூல் அருணகிரிநாதர் என்பவரால் பாடப்பட்டது.

அருணகிரிநாதர் 15ஆம் நூற்றாண்டில் வாழ்ந்த புலவர்.

அனுபூதி என்னும் சொல்லினை அனு + பூதி என்று பிரிக்கலாம்

"அனு" என்பது அனுபவம். "பூதி" என்பது புத்தி. இது (அறிவு). அறிவின் பூரிப்பு. அனுபவ அறிவின் பூரிப்பே அனுபூதி.

இந்த நூலில் 51 பாடல்கள் உள்ளன. பாடல்கள் எதுகைத்தொடை ஓட்டத்தால் சந்தச்சுவை உடையனவாக உள்ளன.
