Lissajous

A customizable live wallpaper of a variety of "rotating" Lissajous figurines. Each time the wallpaper goes out of sight, the background changes to a new figure.

The colors of the figure and background can be changed as well as the size and speed of rotation.

Lissajous curves, named after physicist Jules Antoine Lissajous (1822-1880), are the plots of a family of parametric equations. The curves have visual appeal, as well as such practical uses as validating oscilloscope and audio equipment.
