Thousands of pilgrims from all walks of life still flock to Malabar in search of his spiritual shadow, who came to Malabar from HALARMOUTH, Yemen for Islamic teachings and later made strong interventions in the religious, social and political spheres here. The Salat Majlis was established by MAMPURAM after the death of his uncle and father - in - law, Syed Hassan bin Alawi JIFRI.
