MCPS 5th Grade Challenge

Are You Up to the Fifth Grade Challenge? is a study guide made by and for students in Montgomery County Public Schools (MD). It is modeled on the annual fundraising gameshow produced by the MCPS Educational Foundation to showcase the 5th grade curriculum and to engage the community. Enjoy single and multiplayer modes as you answer quiz questions related to Science, Social Studies, Math, Art, Music and Language Arts. Not sure if your answer is correct? The collaborative nature of this game enables contestants to see what other players say before submitting a final answer!

This application was developed by Dig-it! Games LLC and the 2017 Eighth Grade Class at Argyle Middle School for Digital Design and Development. Eighth grade students worked with Dig-it! Games LLC on game design features, debugging and creating images and the logo. Questions from the first four years of the MCPS Educational Foundation production were included in this application. This project was made possible by a grant from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.
