Poneso Actuarial Consultants was founded late in 2003 by black actuarial professionals who showed a need to represent and inform the disadvantaged South Africans in this unexposed profession. An intensive research together with the skills and knowledge acquired by this young dynamic management team showed a need for Poneso to showcase its talent.

In 2013, the company reached new hights and evolved to become Poneso Group Pty Ltd which holds 100% stake of the now Poneso EB and Actuarial Consultants which comprises of Actuarial and risk management divisions.
