What makes Space Launch 1 different from other similar apps in the Play Store?

After initial launch it does not require active network connection to work, meaning it does not use your data and most features are functional offline. It will periodically update the space launch details but only when connected to wifi. It is free and does not have ads. The UI follows Android material design guidelines. It comes with a homescreen widget that shows a live countdown to next launch.
