Sunrise Alarm with LIFX Free

Welcome to Sunrise Alarm with LIFX Free!

Make your LIFX bulb(s) gently fade-in like a sunrise before your alarm goes off! No need for a second alarm clock schedule or additional app! Just keep using your regular alarm clock app and Sunrise Alarm with LIFX will take care of the rest!

How it works:

This app turns on your LIFX bulbs before your alarm, emulating a sunrise in your bedroom. You can adjust how long before the alarm (0-120min) and how long the fade-in should take(0-120min). For example switch the light on 20 minutes before the alarm and set the fade-in to 20min as well to gradually increase the brightness till it reaches its maximum as soon as the alarm goes off.

This is a limited free version!

Sunrise Alarm with LIFX Free is intended as a testversion for Sunrise Alarm with LIFX. You can use it, as long as you like but you will miss out on some features:

• dynamic color change (Free won't change it's color during the sunrise)

• limit active hours (Free is always active if enabled)

• light bulb selection (Free always uses all)

• location selection (Free has to be disabled, if you spent a night away)

This app uses LIFX' cloud service. You'll have to sign in with your LIFX account at cloud.lifx.com and generate a personal remote access token to use it.

Troubleshooting:

• Use the debug info in the settings for clues what's going wrong.

• Try the Google clock app from the store!

• Some apps create fake alarms to survive 'doze'. These break Sunrise Alarm!

• Sunrise Alarm needs a moment after the display is turned off, to do its thing. Don't enforce 'doze' as soon as the display goes off! (if you don't know what this line means, you should be save)

• There might be something wrong with your LIFX remote access token. Go verify it's correct!

• Your bulb(s) might have stopped responding or dropped offline. Try turning them off/on and make sure they are powered during the night!

Disclamer: This app doesn't collect, store or share any sensitive information beyond what's necessary for the functionality of the app. The LIFX remote access token can be revoked at cloud.lifx.com at any time, rendering any stored information of this app useless.
