SyncTrainer

SyncTrainer is a movement analysis app that uses A.I. algorithsm to rate the synchronization and difficulty of a group dance, gymnastics routine, martial arts choreography, synchronized diving, marching parade, or any other type of synchronized activity.

To use SyncTrainer:

1. Press the 'Upload Video' button

2. Select a video from your phone gallery that displays more than two people doing a movement, with a steady camera focus and minimal background distractions.

3. Once you have selected the video, SyncTrainer will generate analytics about the movement in terms of synchronization, move difficulty and formation patterns.

SyncTrainer relies on machine learning algorithms (i.e. pose estimation) to analyse the input video. All metrics/analytics generated by SyncTrainer are rough estimates only. The accuracy of these analytics is affected by the following factors: (i) the quality of the input video (e.g. lighting, camera angle, fixed v shaky camera, etc); (ii) any distractions or obstacles in the background or foreground of the input video; (iii) the outfits of the individuals in the input video (particularly any distracting colours).
