This app was created by TPEP Youth and Mentors. The purpose of our FREE apps are to provide public service preparedness information on a variety of topics. We also use this activity to provide opportunity for youth in the Raleigh NC area, to (a) learn how to create Android apps with AppInventor, (b) learn to edit photos and create videos and audio (c) develop teamwork and self-preparedness skills (d) develop bilingualism (e) receive COOL SWAG (f) and last but not least, HAVE FUN!

Cool features of the "PreparednessMojo™ Eclipse 2017 and beyond!" app:

(1) 40 words for future space explorers in English and Spanish with pronunciations, (2) African American contributors to space sciences and astronomy, (3) Gamebot, (4) Public Service Announcement about Eclipse viewing safety. (5) Resource links to learn more about the topic.

This app will be regularly updated after the 2017 eclipse , in preparation for 2024!
