UB Connects

The purpose of the app is to allow students, faculty, staff, and alumni to actively participate in the UB Connects Mentorship Program at the University of Baltimore. With the use of this technology, mentors and mentees will be able to communicate with each other to increase student success during students' first-year experience at the institution. Overall, mentors will be able to help students:\n• fully transition into the campus community\n• strengthen student success skills\n• maximize the use of campus and external resources\n• build purposeful relationships\nAlso, this platform provides a virtual tool for the program administrator to manage the interactions of participants and assess the level of engagement.
