Areabuzz

Areabuzz is a social networking platform for people within a geographical area (cities, small towns, villages, neighborhood or communities) where they can share/receive information, trade and relate with each other.

Areabuzz by design to Unify people in the same location and makes use of Users Generated Contents (UGC) this allows for people to easily share and receive local contents in very prompt and easy manner

Areabuzz has three distinctive features that aid in providing solutions to the above problems.

a. Location news feed: the location news feed is designed to show users information shared by other users about issues of importance within their area. Information shared here includes public announcements or notice, opportunities, events, criminal l activities, public opinions, job offers or promotion, etc.

b. Areamart: Areamart is a local e-commerce platform where users within a particular geographical location can easily trade amongst themselves, find products and services easier and faster it is designed to host local businesses for every location. In general, it is the location marketplace of every location.

c. Emergency: In the case of emergency, Areabuzz is designed to help users to access the closest emergency service unit closest to their location both publicly and privately owned and also help the emergency service provider with quick insight to the emergency situation and exact location. It is also equipped with an alert system that notifies users when they are close to an emergency situation or threat.
