Implemented in 2015, the system was developed by researchers from the Scientific Computing Program (Fundação Oswaldo Cruz, RJ) and the School of Applied Mathematics (Fundação Getúlio Vargas) with the strong collaboration of the Municipal Health Department in Maranhão, the Observatório da Dengue/ UFMG and researchers from the Federal University of Paraná and the State University of West Paraná (https://info.dengue.mat.br/alerta/MA/dengue) and presents them in an easy-to-read format. The application presents confirmed cases of dengue, in addition to information on the number of suspected cases, hospitalizations and deaths from dengue.
