Find Me ID

Every second counts if your child becomes lost or separated. The Canadian Centre for Child Protection introduces the new Find Me ID app to ensure parents have access to their child’s current photo and information in the event that their child goes missing.

Endorsed by the RCMP Foundation, the Find Me ID app replaces the traditional child identification (ID) program with today’s advanced technology, to provide parents with an innovative, easy-to-use child ID program, right in the palm of their hands!

Features of the Find Me ID app:

• Allows parents to email their child’s photo and information directly to law enforcement or other important contacts should their child go missing

• Unique fields to record a child’s vital information

• Allows parents to update their child’s photo at any time or rely on built-in prompts

• List of immediate steps to take should a child go missing

• Password protected

• Direct link to MissingKids.ca – Canada’s missing children resource centre

• And is free and user-friendly
