Starting from July 8th, this new version goes futuristic with a cityscape of colossal skyscrapers, inspired by the Transformers' latest franchise title, "Transformers: One". Battle royale fans will be granted summon powers, calling young Prime and Megatron to the arena in play. Modes like Classic mode and World of Wonder get revamped along with the arrival of the new Transformers-themed mode. Classic mode adds a plane cabin performance, allowing players to interact mid-air while parachuting. WOW mode's zombie mode introduces two new enemy types. Multiplayer in WOW lets players dive into more strategic fun with a new ice dragon boss and a new Ink Blaster weapon.

Mega Truck & Electromagnetic Tank
New units and vehicles come with the new theme, bringing loads of mid-air transforming fun! Call in unique vehicles like a Prime-inspired truck or a tank reminiscent of Megatron by using signal beacons.
- Summonable Mechanical Units: Signal Beacons, located on the summit of the centre tower across the Erangel map. Summon Prime, Megatron, and other transformers through the signal beacons.
- Transforming Vehicles: You and your 4-player squad will be well-protected by the Prime's Mega Truck and Megatron's Tank. These two vehicles can be repeatedly repaired even suffered from heavy damage.
PUBG Mobile 3.9 Update: Cybertron Neon Map
Neon Outpost debuts in the 3.9 update, divided into three areas:
- Boxing Ring: Features a loot box that unlocks after a countdown.
- Black Market: Home to vendor NPCs and a special food stand offering the Interstellar Burger.
- Energy Hub: Populated with moving robot units, some of which can be used for travel or interactions.
Within Neon Outpost, the Astro Den zone allows only melee combat, and eliminated players respawn above the area instead of being knocked out completely. Another Astro Den elsewhere on the map rewards the last surviving team after a timer expires.
PUBG Mobile 3.9 Update: Cosmic Hoverboard Vehicle
The Cosmic Hoverboard is designed for rapid movement across Erangel. While it cannot be used for combat, players can collect special cores to upgrade the hoverboard with abilities such as:
- Double Jump: Increases your vertical movement.
- Dash Move: Dash for quick escapes or approaches.
- Improved Steering: The Steer is better for handling in tight situations.
