Krishna Kanhaiya

The god Krishna is understood to be an eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Krishna is technically the black god, since sanskrit word Krishna means "black." However, he is generally depicted with blue skin. Krishna is the one of the most popular, both as an avatar and as a god. His Character presents two different aspects. In the Mahabharata epic, his character is of a serious, severe and, a resourceful war-hero. While the other aspect of his character is as the divine lover, dancing at midnight with the Gopis, who are drawn to his beauty, his beautiful music, and the image of divine presence.
