This app shows the recursive nature of trees. By recursion, we typically mean that a part of an object is roughly similar to the whole object. Although trees are visually complex, they are mathematically simple. A big tree is simply a collection of small trees on the basis of the same mathematical or geometric structure. The structure is full of ratios and proportions. This app allows users to explore both 2-split and 3-split trees and further see the consequence of a variety of parameters. Yes, there are millions of possibilities. Have fun growing trees! Warning: Recursion consumes a lot of computing resource. So be patient if you choose to make a tree of more than five or six layers.
