Offline-locator GPSdroid is an GPS independent application which will help you find your loved ones instantly! GPSdroid utilize GPS device, cell tower data cellid method and WiFi to locate cell phone.

There are many applications for tracking cell phone location but almost all of them use only Google Location Services. Offline-locator GPSdroid can find the location of a cell phone with or even without Location, WiFi, GPS device or Data services! Location track request and answer is based on exchange of short email or text SMS messages.

This is not a spy software! To locate others cell phone Offline-locator GPSdroid needs to be installed on the cell phone you want to track and it's Locator needs to be set to enabled! User can always decide who can track his location and who can not, so spying is not possible. If you want to spy somebody this is not app for that purposes.

Offline-locator GPSdroid uses GPS device, WiFi or Cell Tower Network Data cellid coding method, depending which data is available, to find cell phone location! Accuracy of location found by the cellid method strongly depends on the number of towers near cell phone and signal strength! App is not using Google android location service and does not using Google API location services. If Location and GPS device is switched off and WiFi is offline location data will be still reachable by cellid code data from GSM android telephony service. Cell phone will send MCC MNC CID and LAC code data by text SMS message which is used to retrieve location from Cell Tower Network Data open source database.

Application communication utilizes internet or if cell phone is offline text SMS messaging. Offline-locator GPSdroid also allow using email to SMS service if your GSM provider offers email to text SMS forwarding services. A single Gmail account can be used for an unlimited number of cell phones.

1. GPS independent - GPS is not needed to find location. If GPS device is off or cell phone is indoors, offline locator GPSdroid will use other sources to track geo position

2. Open source - offline locator GPSdroid is using open source location database for WiFi & Cell Tower Network cellid Data. Google API and Google Location services are not sources of position data.

3. Internet independent - offline locator GPSdroid using text SMS messaging service if tracking cell phone is not online

4. Always available location - location is available indoors even in basement as long as there is GSM service with minimum signal strength

5. WiFi location - offline locator GPSdroid is GPS independent and can track position if WiFi is online very precisely

App can track position from offline cell phone device which is not on the internet using nearest cell tower CELLID code and text code over SMS messaging service to find location from open source internet database with cell tower network geo location data
