Imagine you are taking part in some outdoor event: airsoft game, off-road ride, hunting etc. You and your friends have different types of UVF transmitters: some devices allow you to set any frequency like 446.056250 MHz, others support fixed channels only. People ask questions like "15th channel - what frequency is it?" or "433.075MHz - how do I set it on my walkie-talkie?"
Radiop translates LPD/PMR/FRS channel numbers to frequency and visa versa. You will be able to find the frequency/channel supported by everybody's device, e.g. 433.075 Mhz is the LPD69 channel #1 or PMR channel #5 is 446.056250 Mhz
CTCSS and DCS modes are supported as well
