WHAT IS THOMSON'S LAW?

Probably the most important mathematical relationship between inductance (L), capacitance(C) and frequency (f) in a resonance circuit is called "Thomson's Law". This formula is used to calculate the resonance frequency of a resonance circuit.

Thomson's Law is named after British mathematical physicist and engineer William Thomson, 1st Baron Kelvin (1824–1907).

WHAT IS SPECIAL ABOUT THIS APP?

Resonance Calculator works in real-time. Results are calculated as you type-in your values. The App also calculates the wavelength value for any given resonance frequency.
