Superbrands is the independent authority and arbiter on branding. The organization was set-up to promote the discipline of branding and to highlight and pay tribute to exceptional brands. The organization achieves this through a number of channels including publishing books on branding, conducting and commissioning regular research into brands and branding, organizing event and conferences and running regular media campaigns.

But what does Superbrands status mean? The Superbrands credential represents an acknowledgement from the branding community and obtaining the status puts the brand in the circle of an elite group of organizations that are seen to represent best practice in brand management; ultimately it is the brand Oscars.
