This app was written for kids who have their mom or dad's old cell phone and need the ability to text their parents. I wrote it for my kids. Most parents do NOT give their kids access to their cell phone data plan. This app gives your kids the ability to text you ( parents ) from the old android phone that you gave them.

Requirements a gmail account, and wifi. This app uses the gmail account to send the text.

setup:

Click on the wrench icon

Add your gmail user id and password, or set one up for your kids and use theirs.

Add the phone number of mom and dad, choose your carrier.

Click on Turn App login on, turn on less secure apps.

Save

You are good to go, now your kids can text you if:

1. Emergency

2. Babysitter issue

3. Whatever reason... ( you know kids )
