TapTrack's TrustTap system uses a cryptographic signature to allow for verification of the identity of an NFC tag beyond just its UID (serial number). This free evaluation version signs and verifies NFC tags using a signature derived from a user-specified salt. This ensures your tags are unique and differ from those of other users of this evaluation app.

A full customized TrustTap system from TapTrack can be configured with cloud storage/verification, asymmetric key cryptography, and custom branding to suit your project.

This free evaluation version of TrustTap works with type 2 NFC tags (Ultralight or NTAG) however type 4 Desfire tags with additional security can be used for even higher value applications with the full license.
