- Google app installed on your device (available at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox).

- Google speech recognition enabled as default speech recognition (Basic Google recognition).

- Internet connection (it can work offline if you download the required language packs, but the accuracy will be lower). To download the language packs, go to your device settings and find "Google Voice" -> Offline speech recognition.
