AgriBuk - Indian Farmer's Hub

Overview :

Agribuk App provides single platform for both Farmers & Customers. After register through this App, farmers can show which vegetables or fruits they have with them right now. Through this App, users can view the farmers profile & if they required the same vegetables or fruits, then they can contact the farmers & confirm their order.

Current Challenges:

1) Agriculture is main occupation for Under developed & Developing countries. But, farmers are facing lot of problems in agricultural activities. For example: most of the farmers grow same kind of crops, if last year that crop gave good returns. They don’t bother about other crops. Due to this, the Crop supply is more than the demand in market. So, automatically the price of that crop will reduce continuously. So, the farmers will incur huge lose by this. Right now, farmers don’t communicate each other – what to crop? How much should they crop?

2) Apart from the above problem, farmers have facing another problem. Farmers don’t know to whom they sold their seeds. Right now, they are selling their entire stocks to APMC Markets through the help of Middleman. So, the Middleman/agents charge their Commission to purchase their seeds, or to help them to sell their seeds in APMC Market. And, the Agents purchase the seeds in very cheap prices. Through this - farmers have not getting full returns for their efforts.

3) If, any person has function or ceremony in their home, then the person required the vegetable/fruits immediately. He doesn’t have time to go Market & purchase the vegetables or fruits. Beside his home only – one farmer has enough stock to sell the excess vegetables to required person. But, the person doesn’t know the farmer. So, the person cannot contact the farmer & do business with him.

Objective:

1) To give the solution for above problem, we have developed App called AgriBuk. So, through this App – Farmers can get the required information like how many farmers growing a particular crop in their city, State etc. If any person required the crop, then the user can search nearby farmer’s name – who has sufficient stock. If farmers get the details which farmer growing what crop now, then they can plan to grow other crop to balance the supply & demand of the various crops. So, by this all farmers connected through the App, and all the farmers will get benefited, because they will get the right price for their grown crops.

2) Through this App, Farmer & the customer contact each other without any interference of any Agent/Middleman. So, by this farmer & customer continue their business without giving any commission to agents.

3) Another object to develop this App is to help to service finder. If any person has function & he required the Vegetable/fruits very urgently. Then, he can register through our App & find the farmer, who has required vegetables/fruits nearby. So, by this app – both farmer & customer gets benefited.
