WHEREAS it is expedient to consolidate and amend the laws relating to the procedure of the Courts of Civil Judicature; It is hereby enacted as follows:-

This Act may be cited as the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908.It shall come into force on the first day of January, and 1909.It extends to the whole of Bangladesh. A law practitioner should know the following matter; What is law? Where is law? How to find out the law? Where you should go to find out the better remedy? How to read the law? Law should be read repeatedly. How to apply the law? And in order to practice the civil matter, a law practitioner should go through the following laws:
