Carbon Cleanse

This app inspires and encourages you to reduce your carbon footprint. Three new tasks that reduce carbon footprint are assigned daily. You can choose to do any one, two, all, or none of the tasks. If you tick a box for a task, a pop-up message appears informing you of the decrease in your carbon footprint due to completing the assigned task. This pop-up message contains statistics on how much carbon dioxide you have saved due to completing this task. There is also a small encouragement to keep up the good work. The next day, you are presented with new tasks.

The tree bar on top of the screen provides you with a visual representation of how much of an impact your efforts are making in terms of the carbon dioxide saved. The tree at the end of the bar signifies the amount of carbon a tree absorbs in a week. Each week the bar resets. However, during the week you can tap the bar to see the amount of carbon dioxide you have saved this week. At the end of the week, a congratulatory message will pop up along with statistics on the carbon dioxide you have saved during the week.

If you want to check your progress from the date you have downloaded the application, you can click the History button. This is present at the bottom of the screen. When you click the History button, a pop-up appears showing all the tasks that you have completed from the time you have downloaded the app. It also shows the total carbon dioxide you have saved during this period.
