GLIMPSES OF PROBLEMS - MISC

This game is a collection of following four problems :

1. Number Puzzle :

There is a 9x9 board, some of cells are colored white and some are black.

Your task is to place 33 numbers (1,2,3, .. ,33) on 33 white cells in such a way so that the sum of the numbers in white horizontal row, white vertical column , and 2 white diagonals are same. You can place a number only once.

+(Inc) and -(Dec) buttons are for number selection.

2. Swipe Ball :

There is a 6x6 board and some random colored balls (RED, GREEN and BLUE) will be drawn on the board.

Cells are adjacent in the following way :

1 2 3 ... N-1

N N+1 N+2 ... 2N-2

...

Here cells numbered N-1 and N are adjacent.

Your task is to place all the RED balls first, then all the GREEN balls and then all the BLUE balls in minimum number of moves.

You can exchange any two balls by clicking any one first and then clicking on the other.

3. Matrix Mode :

There is a 8x8 board and all the cells will be either 0 or 1 randomly.

Your task is to convert all the cells of the board into 1 by the following rules :

R1: If there are 3 0's in a 2x2 matrix it can be changed into a 2x2 matrix of 4 0's

R2: If there are 3 1's in a 2x2 matrix it can be changed into a 2x2 matrix of 4 1's

R3: If there are 4 0's in a 2x2 matrix it can be changed into a 2x2 matrix of 4 1's

R4: If there are 4 1's in a 2x2 matrix it can be changed into a 2x2 matrix of 4 0's

Rules are applicable for any 2x2 matrix.

If you click on a cell there may be atmost 4 2x2 matrices which satisfy some of the above rules.

One of the above rules will be applied on any randomly selected matrix which satisfies a particular rule.

4. Ball Jump :

There is a 5x5 board in this game and 9 balls are placed on the board.

Your task is to end with one ball in the center of the board in minimum number of moves.

Rules of the game :

R1: A ball can jump over any other adjacent (row, column or diagonal) ball and land on an empty cell.

The ball which is jumped over is removed from the board.

R2: You can move a ball to a adjacent (row, column or diagonal) empty cell.

Clear Button starts a new board.
